Arion Original Sterilized is a gluten-free food with salmon for sterilized cats. Sterilized cats have reduced energy needs, reduced activity levels but often show increased appetite and higher food intake. Studies have shown a significantly higher risk of obesity compared to non-sterilized cats. This food combines an adapted energy level with high-quality protein sources and a balanced fiber content. Additions of high levels of L-carnitine promote fat metabolism and help the cat maintain a healthy weight. A selection of natural fibers, including beet pulp and psyllium seeds, provide a feeling of satiety and regulate intestinal transit and eliminate hairballs. This reduces persistent hunger while reducing calorie intake. With a regulated magnesium level and a target urine pH of 6.0-6.4, the risk of urinary stone formation is reduced and urinary tract health is promoted. The food also contains chondroitin and glucosamine to keep joints mobile and strong.
